Pelvic Pain

  Pelvic Pain is a normal experience in women indicates normal functioning of reproductive or other organs. If pelvic pain persists some other times, it is an indication of some serious problem that needs urgent treatment.

Causes of Pelvic Pain


Pelvis is a central place for many organs like uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder and intestine, appendix also live next to the reproductive organs. A pain or sensations from these organs can feel like pain from the uterus or ovaries. Pain from the kidney and the abdominal wall can also seem to come from the pelvis.

Pelvic pain is three types

  •  Bladder Stones

  •  Urinary tract infections (UTI) or vaginal infections

  • Pharmacologic treatment

  • For serious infections such as PID
