Pelvic Pain
Pelvic Pain is a normal experience in women indicates normal
functioning of reproductive or other organs. If pelvic pain persists some other
times, it is an indication of some serious problem that needs urgent treatment.
Causes of Pelvic Pain
Pelvis is a central place for many organs like uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes,
bladder and intestine, appendix also live next to the reproductive organs. A
pain or sensations from these organs can feel like pain from the uterus or
ovaries. Pain from the kidney and the abdominal wall can also seem to come from
the pelvis.
Pelvic pain is three types

Ruptured tube pregnancy or appendicitis.

Pain from endometriosis or growing fibroid tumor or chronic
pelvic pain

"functional" ovarian cyst
Cause:

Inflammation
- Bladder Stones
any other pain to other organs in the pelvic region
Treatment

Diagnosis is the basis for treatment of pelvic pain since it is
associated with many organs.

Urinary tract infections (UTI) or vaginal infections

Pharmacologic treatment

For serious infections such as PID

If a sexually transmitted disease is diagnosed, your partner will
also need to be treated to prevent re infection
